The inside of the detached cover has maps of the three dungeon levels:
From the back cover:
Each adventure module in the Psychedelic Fantasies line revels in unconstrained imagination. Every monster, every magic spell, and every magic item is a unique and never-before-seen creation of the author. No orcs, fireballs, or +1 swords will be found within. Leave the familiar behind to explore hitherto undreamed of wonders…
Compatible with every old school version of the original fantasy role-playing game.
"How big is the module?"
The module is 16 pages long, and its font is 9-point Times New Roman. The module is 11" tall and 4.25" wide. It will fit in your back pocket.
"So what's it all about?"
This is a three-level dungeon. It's a site-based module. There it is. Plop it anywhere you wish. It'll fit! No quests or plots. Just good old-fashioned D&D adventure...but all the pieces are new! You've never seen anything like this before: Kong, freaky monkeys, void-craft, mutants, telephones (NOT what you think), the Mirrored Hall (a personal favorite of mine), and...the shit elemental!
"That's too freaky for me!"
Nah. Try it. It's a hell of a lot more fun than most movies you can go to...and cheaper, too.We here at the Psychedelic Fantasies shop are having more fun than should be legal. Did I tell you about the time some bikini babes holding six-packs showed-up while we were playing Dungeons & Dragons? We curtly waved them away because we were having too good a time exploring the dungeons Within the Radiant Dome.
"Does it have any art?"
NO. To keep the price lower, none of the modules in the Psychedelic Fantasies line have any art. These are not works of art. They are utilitarian modules meant to be inflicted upon your players.
Why buy one module when you can buy two for twice the price? Beneath the Ruins is still available. They make a nice matching pair:
